To-Shi Evaluation

Opportunity to evaluate in person for To-shi ranks is available at An-shu’s sponsored events. More information about these events can be found here. Only 10 slots are available at each evaluation event.

Evaluations for To-Shi levels are conducted by the To-Shin Do Shihan Kai and the Silver Belt Council. For your evaluation, you can prepare to demonstrate up to three techniques from the curriculum for your next belt level. You will be asked to demonstrate these techniques two times each with your own uke. You will then take part in free-response scenarios, with both armed and unarmed attackers. Go-Dan candidates may be asked to return after the scheduled evaluation time. This evaluation is NOT for Rokku-Dan candidates.
